Islington Churches Bereavement Service

The CARIS Bereavement Service helps children and adults in Islington who are experiencing bereavement. We will help anyone in Islington who has been bereaved, regardless of disability, ethnicity, gender, race, religion, race, or sexuality, or whether the bereavement was recent or a long time ago. Our service is free and confidential. Counselling can take place in our premises in Tolington Park, or at the client's home.

Phone our office on 020 7281 5200 and leave us a message. Lydia or Richard will phone you back or write to you to offer you an appointment within a couple of weeks.

When you meet with Lydia or Richard it will be a chance to talk about what has happened and to discuss whether the Bereavement Service will be able to help. This initial meeting puts you under no obligation to accept further visits unless you feel it would be helpful to you.

This is a photo of St Mary's Church, where we used to have our office. We moved because we didn't have room there to see clients so all of our counselling used to take place at the client's home. Now clients can choose whether to be seen at home or at our premises in Tollington Park.
